TREND ALERT- SCARF PRINT

Ever since the  D&G Summer/Spring 2012 fashion show it was

obvious that scarf print would be a major trend this season. Scarf prints

aren't new at all fashion houses such as Versace have made it apart 

of there brand. D&G basically bombarded us with the jewel tone prints which 

has stopped us in our tracks. The scarf print is very vintage-esk 

and youthful at the same time.

I believe that just because you want to be on trend does not mean

 that you have to spend your entire life savings on a single article of 

clothing, so I have found affordable pieces that will help you and your account.

I've seen many people rocking the red pant trend. It is not a trend 

I've really jumped on to yet, I think burgundy is more my color. 

Don't get me wrong scarlet and cherry are pretty cool colors 

but I just prefer burgundy. Imagine burgundy leather pants, how cool would that be.

POLKA AMBUSH

Polka dots are a huge trend for Fall 2011. I really do like it but

I seem to not have a single polka dot article in my wardrobe.

Bigger dots are more for the type of person who doesn't mind 

standing out and if you are a person who just wants to dabble 

in the trend a little bit go for the smaller dots or ones that 

are more spaced apart.

YOUTUBE SPOTLIGHT

I absolutely love this channel on youtube. The youtube channel is called clothesencounters. These two ladies put together wonderful outfits from thrift stores, the buffalo exchange, urban outffiters and american apparel. And the pieces they manage to put together are pieces I wish I had in my wardrobe. The vid above is basically their take on fall trends.
